Wastewater treatment

Wastewater treatment has been around for a long time, although the technologies used are constantly evolving. This is mainly because waste streams are also being monitored more thoroughly.

Examples include microplastics, pharmaceuticals, mineral oils, but also triazoles, PFAS and other “new” contaminants. Not to mention, of course, that a great deal of attention is still being paid to BOD, COD and heavy metals, among other things. As measurement techniques evolve, increasingly stringent requirements are also being imposed.

Water Experts is happy to help you in your search for better treatment of your water in order to keep levies under control

Case study

Economical impact

Wastewater cannot simply be discharged. There are different formulas for calculating charges for households, agriculture and industry. The rates for these charges increase almost every year. There is therefore some economic gain (or loss) to be made from good (or poor) management of this flow. The legislator carries out regular checks on this, with possible fines as a result.

Ecological & Social Impact

Everyone benefits from healthy waterways. Our waterways are not only a source of life in nature, they are also the source of our drinking water and sometimes even the source of our process water (see alternative sources).

Finally, by involving Water Experts, you can also indirectly support a good cause. We put 10% of our profits into a fund to provide drinking water in places where they do not have the resources.
