Water reuse

What better way to save water than to reuse it?

This can sometimes be done on a very local level, e.g. waste water from one process can be used as rinse water in another. But it can also sometimes be done at the end of the pipe, where the waste water is split into a new water stream and a concentrate stream after treatment. You understand that monitoring the effect of this concentration is equally important. A comprehensive study is necessary here.

Case study

Economical impact

Water reuse is widely regarded as the future of sustainable water management. Although the investments required for such technologies are quite substantial, they are often subsidised by governments. In addition, suppliers are also making all kinds of proposals, such as Circular Water As a Service.

The major benefit lies in the certainty of having water of the right quality.

Ecological & Social Impact

Water reuse leads to less tap water consumption. This allows drinking water to be reserved for its main purpose: drinking.

In addition, the long dry periods in Europe, for example, have already proven that water security cannot be taken for granted. If we can capture part of industrial water consumption in this way, more surface and groundwater will be available for nature.

Finally, by involving Water Experts, you can also indirectly support a good cause. We put 10% of our profits into a fund to provide drinking water in places where they do not have the resources. See WaterHeroes.
